Almost Ready for Fall Classes!

What a difference two weeks make!
Over 100 volunteers have given so generously of their time
and worked so hard to help get our new home at
4728 Charles Page Boulevard in Tulsa
ready for the start of fall session classes on
September 3rd.
Here's a glimpse into the August 17th transformation
of our new facility:
Floor taped and ready to lay out equipment!
David continued to work his magic with paint.

The equipment started arriving...

And finally Clint showed up with his truck fully loaded!

We even celebrated a birthday!

LUNCH TIME

Back to work:

Cleaning up our old gym:

And on August 20th:
Beams in place

Forest Preschool Gym

One wall of Jungle Preschool Gym

Another wall of Jungle Preschool Gym

Addition to spring floor in Main Gym

New Tumble Trak

New Uneven Parallel Bars

We are looking forward to opening our doors
for classes on September 3.
Enrollment has been excellent...some classes are already filled.
We can't wait to welcome our precious students back!

Work in Progress...

What a blessing it is to have so many caring people
come out to help Aim High Academy prepare its new home!

Monday, August 12
A racetrack ministry sent out several painters.

Even the young are helping:

Tuesday, August 13
Maggard Excavation removed the sound booth,
opening space for our gym!

And a big dump truck hauled all the trash away.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received
to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace
in its various forms."

We are thankful for caring hearts
who hear and obey the Word of God.

August 10 Work Day

Excitement is building as Aim High gets ready
to move into its new home!
Saturday, August 10, was the first of two scheduled work days
to prepare the new building for September classes.

Furniture and other things needed to be moved
before cleaning and painting could begin.

Jennifer had a task for everyone!
Sondra and Bonnie did a great job cleaning the kitchen!
Cleaning the tutoring room.
Demolition on the sound booth was begun.

Meanwhile, in one of the preschool gyms:

Still a work in progress - but won't our preschoolers just love this gym???

So many light bulbs to change!

Who doesn't love an organized supply closet?

Little Maddie did some "pretend" painting.

And...at the end of the day...
things got a little crazy!

But seriously,
we were blessed to have so many
wonderful volunteers
show up and work so hard!
We appreciate each and every one of you!

Many thanks to Asbury Methodist Church,
Cornerstone Assistance Network,
Freedom Church of Owasso, and
theCHURCH.at (Battle Creek) for
sending groups out to help.

Our prayer is that God will be glorified in this place.
