Giving Back!

Our wonderful Aim High families collected candy and eggs
for an Easter egg hunt at Penny Park at noon on Saturday, April 19th.
Our team kids stuffed 300 eggs for the children as a service project.

We are so proud of our Aim High family stepping up to help serve the community!

A big "SHOUT OUT" to Aim High's USA Gymnastics All-Staters

At the Oklahoma State Gymnastics Meet in March,
Aim High had three gymnasts qualify onto the All-State Team.
Kaylyn Borens, Kiona Walker, and Sheridan Ramsey
looked so pretty for the All-State banquet,
which was held in August
in Norman, Oklahoma!

The girls were all smiles as they received their awards.

Sheridan, Kiona, and Kaylyn have all worked very hard
and we are quite proud of their accomplishment!

Coach Elizabeth (left) and Coach Jennifer (right)
are two of Aim High Academy's wonderful coaches.

CONGRATULATIONS,
Kaylyn, Sheridan, and Kiona!

News from Aim High!

2012 was an amazing year, from enrollment to impact on the lives of our students and the North Tulsa community!

Our tutoring program has been blessed by a commitment
from some Regent High School students!
They started volunteering on Thursdays
and now wish to add Mondays!
We are so thankful for them!
We are also thankful for our Tutoring Coordinators,
Adrienne Barnes and Callie Bonds.

During the month of December,
our students were taught that Jesus was born to save them.
We are now focusing on teaching our students
the importance of being like Jesus in our daily lives.

Competition season has begun
and we have 32 gymnasts on our team.
We have new uniforms this year...
Don't the girls look great?
Our team will compete in both TAG and USAG meets.

Giants in the Land!

It was a great night at Aim High last night!

Kiona did her giant on bars all by herself!

We are so proud of all our gymnasts and all they accomplish!

Glory to God!

All For God!

Lysaunee (in the middle below) ran off the floor exercise mat
with tears streaming down her face.
"These are tears of joy" she proclaimed to her coaches.
Lysaunee had conquered a fear and did her tumbling pass all by herself for the first time.
She won her age division in Stillwater this weekend.

Congrats to our other Champions this weekend:
Skylar Davis
Sheridan Ramsey
Kiona Walker!

Happy Birthday, Aim High!

Happy Birthday to Aim High Academy!

We have now been serving urban children in the North Tulsa community for 5 years.
It is hard to believe that only 5 years ago we began classes
at the John 3:16 Center with 1 class and 1 mat.
Now we serve more than 170 children!

Place of Refuge

September 20, 2011
An Aim High mom told us that the only place
her daughter does not have severe anxiety issues is at gymnastics.
Glory to God for providing this child with a place of refuge!
The presence of the Lord...nothing compares!
